Nature Cure...

Naturopathy

Picture
Hippocrates said, "Let food be thy medicine, medicine be thy food." The kicker is not just any "food" can heal--only elements that build our body up and have a nourishing effect are able to cause self-healing and restoration. There is food that we consume that nourishes our physical body and there is food that we receive through love and positive relationships that nourishes our being on all levels. We could eat the healthiest diet ever and still become ill if we are unable to find balance within. There are "love tanks" that we need to keep full. The following categories build upon one another from a physical standpoint to a purely energetic one. The goal is to create healing from within out. From within we nourish our mind, body and spirit while externally creating a healthy environment that is conducive with our inner environment--each play an intricate role in synergizing an energetic shift in consciousness.

Live Food & Healthy Eating

Picture
The food you eat provides the source of energy needed to fuel the activity of every cell in your body. It also provides the nutrients required for physical growth and repair and enables the body to produce the variety of substances, such as hormones, enzymes, and neurotransmitters, that are essential for normal body functioning.

Herbal Nutrition

Picture
The use of plant remedies to build or cleanse body systems, support proper body functions, and boost the body’s own healing powers is perhaps the oldest form of nature cure. Herbalists maintain that the natural balance of compounds in plants provides a more effective means of restoring health than synthesized, single-ingredient drugs, as prescribed in orthodox modern medicine. Drugs attempt to treat the symptom--mainly suppressing its vital action--which is to let the body know that something is wrong. By suppressing symptoms we push dis-ease deeper into the body which has a detrimental effect on the vital force dismantling the body’s natural attempt to heal itself.

Essential Oils

Picture
Each plant contains a unique combination of oils in its roots, stems, leaves, seeds, and flowers that is known as its essential oil. The essential oils of selected plants are used in aromatherapy to foster balance and harmony of the body, mind, and spirit. The therapeutic benefit may result from its effect on hormones and other chemical messengers in the body and brain.

Flower & Plant Essences

Picture
Made from the blossoms and leaves of plants and trees, flower and plant essences are prepared in water and preserved in alcohol. They are used from their impact on the mind and the spirit, to reverse negative mental states and re-balance the emotions. Their gentle action--there are no known adverse effects--makes them an ideal complement with herbs, essential oils and homeopathy to help support the transitional process of healing.

Homeopathy

Picture
The word homeopathy, derived from the Greek, means "similar suffering." The therapy is based on the principle that "like cures like." Homeopaths believe that if a substance can produce the symptoms of illness when taken in a large dose, it has the potential to heal the same symptoms when taken in an infinitesimally small dose. And it does this without causing any harm.

Elemental Energy & Feng Shui

Picture
“Responses to color are elemental; we are vibratory creatures, and every atom of the body is sounding off with color. When these atoms, or segments of them, get out of kilter, we suffer from disease or dis-ease, and as a result, our preferences change." Vibrational therapy encompasses everything from sound, color, thought and intent from consciousness to the unconscious, from plant, animal, man and moon. We are all connected to and related by frequency, sound and color waves. We are born from nothing into something and we return to nothing. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. We are the salt of the earth. Star dust made of star stuff.

Meditation

Picture
Meditation is contemplation, thought, thinking, musing, pondering, consideration, reflection, deliberation, rumination, brooding, reverie, brown study, concentration; prayer; formal cogitation "cultivating the presence of God through meditation".

Shamanic Journeying, Power Animals & Spirit Guides

Picture
Shamanic journeying is the inner art of traveling to the invisible worlds beyond ordinary reality to retrieve information for change in every area of our lives from spirituality and health to work and relationships. Journeying like meditation is a tool for spiritual growth. It is also a tool that can be used for healing, to obtaining information, and in working through psychological issues. A power animal is a broadly animistic and shamanic concept that has entered the English language from Anthropology, Ethnography and Sociology. The concept of a Power Animal is universal to all cultures. Spirit Guides
